Last evening I had the opportunity to attend the inauguration of La Rouge Café Barcelona, thanks to the invitation of its promoter, photographer Jordi Oliver. In this first session of photographic gathering, we made a travel around the Barcelona of the late 80s and early 90s, specifically focusing on the glittering cabaret scene at venues such as the Bar Marsella, in a very different city than it is today. A great experience told firsthand by Jordi and some of the artists and characters of the night of that time, and also accompanied by its excellent photographs, with a style markedly inspired by French masters as Cartier-Bresson and Doisneau or the American William Klein.
